Fibre Reinforced Composite Post in a dog’s Canine. DR JJJ Van Rensburg
Restoring a canine of a dog patient. I find this amasing. If the Gradia Direct composite can last in a dog's mouth, then it should last in a human mouth as well.
Periodontal Splint and replacing a lower central. DR JJJ Van Rensburg
The periodontal splint used as reinforcement for a pontic
Fibrebond U Shape fibre Upper central. DR JJJ Van Rensburg
U-shape fibre used to reinforce the pontic. This technique was develloped by Dr Van Rensburg to obtain a more predictable outcome of the FRC bridge.

Improving the aesthetic appearance of a periodontally compromised patient.
Traumma Case by Dr JJJ van Rensburg
Fibredontics can be very useful in emergency cases, where a patient has lost an anterior tooth. This case illustrates this application very well.
A typical periodontal splint and pontic with everStick Perio Fibres by Dr JJJvan Rensburg.
The treatment option was chosen because it was the most cost effective option for this elderly lady. The existing bone support of the remaining teeth and the age of the patient didn’t justify expensive crown and bridge work. The whole procedure was completed within one session of an hour and the patient was extremely satisfied with the outcome of the treatment.
Multi-unit FRC bridge by Dr JJJ van Rensburg
This is an example of a bridge done with the semi-direct technique. Part of the bridge was constructed on a POP model and then finished in the mouth. In this case the occlusal vertical dimension (OVD) was increase by approximately 4 mm.
Semi-direct technique involving the laboratory by Dr JJJ van Rensburg
This case illustrates the advantages of Fibre reinforced composite restorations constructed in the dental laboratory. This technique will also make the construction of multi-unit bridges easier for the clinician
Splinting back an extracted tooth and building up a pontic by Dr JJJ van Rensburg
Fibredontics is an excellent way of treating the periodontally compromised patient. This technique describes how an extracted tooth can be bonded back into the arch. At the same time the other mobile periodontally involved lower anterior teeth can be stabilised and the missing tooth can be replaced with a composite build up directly in the mouth
Cantilever Premolar - a minimally invasive approach by Dr JJJ van Rensburg
This is a case of a patient who has been without his UR5 for many years. He was not interested in extensive prosthodontic procedures but he would like the gap filled in.
